People like us...(con't stem from log 2)

Jupiter slumped to the ground, holding her gut, and fighting against the
dull pain it caused. It wasn't that strong a kick. She stood and wiped the
dirt from her eyes, only to find that she was alone in the rain, the cold
drops stinging and slicing like blades across her bare skin. It would hail
perhaps, by the time the day was out.
Jupiter took a few moments to cautiously look around, seeking her enemy, and
still, no sign. It was the end of her patrol, or it had been, hours ago.
Though nobody had come to replace her. That was a sad thing. She turned, and
walked back to the palace, to wander about in the cold and glittering halls
of the place. It seemed so empty, so depressing. She paid no heed to those
who would come and speak to her. No, just time to herself, time to mourn,
mayhap. She stepped into the warm embrace of the heated air in her chambers,
and drew a bath.
Splash. Drip, drip. Ripple. Water was a funny thing. It soothed the "Cuts"
the rain had made.
She sighed, and replayed the whole scene in her mind, with a look of
distaste on her face and the heat of old anger in her stomach.
It was true, but she wished it wasn't, and on such thoughts, she wished she
had a pair of arms to sink into, that would comfort her. But no such luck.
Life was a sad, cruel place.

Suzu arrives...

In the space above Earth, a large ball of ice began hurtling towards Crystal Tokyo. Gaining momentum as it neared, shards of the ice began melting from the outer layer. Finally, as it neared the ground, the form of a young woman became clear... her body clothed in a black gown, amber hair in two long braids, she was curled in fetal position.
The ball of ice made contact about ten feet in front of SuperSailorJupiter, shattered in millions of pieces, and knocking the body of the girl inside to the dirt roughly. She rolled a few feet from the impact and lay there, not moving for a few moments. Then she pulled herself to her knees shakilly and suspiciously, putting a hand to her forehead. She groaned throatily, almost like a feline growl. Her shoulder was skinned from hitting the Earth, and she was disoriented. Her green eyes caught sight of Jupiter.
"He- ..." She looked around, bewildered. She said meekly, almost whispering, "Hello?"
Makoto, or as she was then, when the girl crashed, had just stepped out of
the safe haven of the palace again, her wet hair done up in its regular
ponytail. And when we say, just stepped out, we mean, just stepped out, as
in, one step out of the door and boom, bam, there the girl was, on the floor
and probably in pain. Jupiter winced, falling from that height would hurt
anybody. She eyed the woman suspiciously, digging her boots into the ground
and redying her muscles in case she was a threat, but didn't move, didn't
speak. Who was it?
The poor girl eyed Makoto back for a moment, noticing the tensing of Makoto's muscles, and froze, not even blinking. She sized her up for a couple minutes, then flinched and looked at the torn up skin on her shoulder. She yowled quietly, and shook her head dizzily, putting a hand against the bloodied arm tenderly.
At this point, it became noticeable that the bases of her two waist-length braids were triangular odangos, shaped like cat ears, one with a silver earring in it. When she shook her head, a slight jingling focused one's attention on a little gold bell on a red collar around her neck.
Her wide bright eyes took in her surroundings, both vicious and afraid at the same time. Ignoring Makoto, she tore a strip from her black gown and attempted to tie it around the injury gently. When done with the pathetic bandage, she brushed shards of ice off of herself, shivering from the melted ones that had become water, wincing every time she touched a bruise or cut.
Finally finished, she watched Makoto, curling her knees to her chest.
"Where am I?" she pleaded.

Not a happy kitty

The catlike girl watched Jupiter for a few minutes, then her jaw dropped. There was something all too familiar about her. Something that made her feel threatened.

Not wanting to find out what that something was, the girl got to her feet and scampered away, frightened.

After she was out of sight, she slowed down, clutching the side she had landed on and biting her lip. It was at this point that she overheard Uranus' scene, having ended up nearby. Not knowing who it was, she ducked into a shadow. But she couldn't hide her breath, coming in labored and loud, and the drops on blood making a path to her small hiding corner. She sat on the ground, shivering, trying to figure out where she was.

Jupiter strangely didn't feel threatened by the girl, but was still
suspicious, with all that had been going on. When she took off, she yelled
after "Come back here!" and took off after the girl, only to stop dead in
her tracks seeing her friend Haruka assumedly on the ground asleep, but from
her distance it was hard to tell. The girl forgotten, she ran off towards
Uranus, to protect her friend, see if she was hurt...
The girl watch carefully from her shadowed corner. She knew she was here for a reason, but the trauma of impact was slowing down the return of her memories. She looked at Makoto skeptically, then saw Uranus. Her face seemed more familiar... the senshi? Was she? Yes.
"Uranus?" she said quietly, to herself, standing, and stepping from the shadows. She approached slowly, unsurely. Could this be Crystal Tokyo? But it didn't make any sense. Her mind showed her brighter pictures, but it was somehow the same.
As she walked towards Makoto and Uranus, she recalled why she had been guided here, stopping in her tracks.
"Something evil here..." she said, more certain. She clutched the bell on her collar guardedly. "What happened?"
SailorJupiter looked down, concerned at Uranus. She knelt down next to her
friend and checked for a pulse, then she heard the faint grind of gravel,
dust under someone's boots, and she lifted her eyes, green orbs shimmering
in the dull light as she beheld the woman again. She moved herself infront
of her friend, in case she be a threat, but relaxed upon hearing her words,
and answered, as she looked down "I'm not certain. She's still alive.."
Blood slowly trickled its way through her bandage and down her arm, making a faint 'plip-plop' sound as the drops hit the dirt. She held her shoulder tentatively, wincing. It'd been so much time since she'd spoken to anyone.

"Is she okay?" She stepped closer, watching Makoto. Then she confirmed, dismayed, "This is Crystal Tokyo, isn't it... ?"

SailorJupiter stood up as Uranus did, and asked "Are you alright?" her eyes
darting about perhaps to see if anybody else was there, somebody
threatening, then back to Uranus, and the other girl with a faint, worried
frown. She couldn't bring herself to smile, she hadn't in months.. years
maybe. "What's happened?" she asked...
Uranus was still a bit dis-arrayed. The pounding in her head had at
least eased a little- though it was still there. She didn't quite
know how to answer Jupiter's question of what happened. "I dunno..
my head.." she shook her head a little while still holding it in her
hand. "Anyway.. I'm alright now. Just a headache i guess.. Where is
everyone? And what happened to you?" Her eyes shuffled to Tin
Nyanko, whom she hadn't noticed was there until she had spoken. She
must really be out of it.. her senses were usually a lot better than
this. She scoffed at Tin Nyanko's question. "Is this Crystal
Tokyo..? Yeah.. or what's left of it at least.." Her cold blue eyes
narrowed a bit at Tin Nyanko. She wondered if she had anything to
do with Neptune's death.
The girl's eyes grew angry and sad.
"That's terrible... how could anyone do this?" She looked around, unsure of herself. Her feet made very little sound, making her feline traits even more obvious. "I don't know if you remember me... it's been so long..."
She played with her collar's bell nervously with her good arm, her eyes fleeting between each senshi.
"I'm Tin Nyanko..." She clutched the bell, ready to transform if they turned on her, so that she could defend herself.
Uranus watched Tin Nyanko. The girl certainly didn't seem like
a threat. If anything , *she* seemed threatened by *them*. She
decided to ease her suspicions for a moment; if she had wanted to
attack them, she'd probably have done so already. More than anything
the girl looks scared and confused. Uranus let out a deep sigh.
"Hai. I remember you. Though you seem.. different.. from when we
met long ago. Who are you here with?", She asked, sounding more
aggressive than she meant to.
"She came alone..." Jupiter replied, meanwhile keeping a wary eye on the
area about them.
She seeemed to remember faintly the name that the girl spoke, it tugged a
little chord in her brain, but brought forth no imagery. There were too many
other things filling it. Recent events being the most prominent of them all.
Suzu watched Uranus, calming down, grateful that she was being treated kindly.
"I... I came alone..." she repeated, forcing back the tearful waver in her voice, remembering all those awful cold years in the ice crystal, floating through unknown space. Then, as a precaution, she added, "But I don't mean any harm this time... I'm so, so sorry for everything I did as Suzu and as Tin Nyanko... I was wrong. I want to help the senshi now."
Tin Nyanko stood very still, not moving, moist from ice shards and blood, scraped and bruised. Her eyes had the odd glint of someone who had nothing else to hope for, but somehow they silently begged for forgiveness for all her attacks on the other senshi so many, many years ago, before she had been banished to her cold prison. She didn't want to go back--no, she *wouldn't* go back. It was too horrible.
Her eyes searched Makoto, waiting to see if she would accept her.
Uranus' narrowed eyes searched Nyanko's once more. She saw the eyes
of someone who was frightened; of someone who was truly sorry... or
someone who wanted it to seem that way.She decided she wouldn't push
away this girl (who at this point didn't seem much of a threat), but
that she would keep an eye on her. Anyway, strategically it would be
best if there were three instead of two. Uranus look to Jupiter,
who, like her, seemed exhausted.. both mentally and physically.
Uranus' head looked down. From anyone standing next to her, all you
could see was the ashen blonde hair and shadows hiding her face. Her
voice fit the look exactly; monotonous, silent, flat. "Jupiter..
what happened to everyone..." it sounded more like a statement than
a question.
Suzu watched Uranus, noticing for the first time how pretty she was, in spite of the sadness that marred her expression. Embarrassed, she looked down at her feet.
"Is there anything I can do to help you guys? Who did made everything look like this? They have to pay." Suzu looked back up at them, her eyes burning with anger.

Off to explore

Seeing that Jupiter and Uranus were busy, Suzu took a long look around. Wondering how badly off Crystal Tokyo was, she wandered off, exploring the area, curious who else was around. She thought hard as she walked, trying to figure out how she could be helpful to the other senshi to gain their trust.
Jupiter looked off after Suzu and shrugged a little. She turned to Uranus,
and looked up at her with a concerned face, being friends with her and all.
She asked "Are you alright?" and waited patiently for an answer, and mayhap
an explanation.
Uranus blushed slightly as she noticed Suzu staring at her before
she began to walk away. Uranus' face remained low and hidden in the
shadows. She heard Jupiter ask if she was okay. Was she alright?
Hell no she wasn't.. how could she be?? At any rate she most
certainly didnt feel like conversating about how pain strucken she
was over the death of Michiru. She was trying to clear her head of
that mess at the moment; besides, what they should be focusing on
right now was survival; not pesky emotions. The ashen blondes thin
face looked up slightly, though her eyes still remained down. "I..
I'm fine." she looked toward Suzu, who hadnt gotten too far away
yet," any way.. we should all stick together for now.. whoever this
enemy is.. i have a feeling they're pretty damn strong. it might not
be smart to get caught alone." she half gestured for Jupiter to
follow her as she began towards Suzu. "Tin Nyanko. Wait up; you
can't possibly make it out here by yourself." she may have sounded a
bit colder than she intended to. Hell. Her head was still pounding.
Suzu's bell jingled quietly as she turned to Uranus. She crinkled her nose shyly, happy not be rejected from the group, but still wary.
"I can too." She crossed her arms and pouted a bit, speaking in reply to the comment about her not being able to make it by herself. Maybe she could beat up whatever made Uranus sad, she thought to herself. That would prove that she was strong.
She tried to stand up straighter and look tough, but her barely above average height and misleading frame made her seem a bit short nonetheless. She compensated by glaring around them at basically nothing.
Jupiter watched the belled senshi a moment, and then added sort of,
cautiously really, "its for our safety that we stay together." and she left
it at that, unpleasant memories of the previous battle coming to mind as she
couldn't help but cringe slightly. Some of the scrapes and wounds she had
recieved during the fight were still fresh, but clean, at least.
Suzu's wide green eyes locked on Jupiter for a second, sensing how guarded she was. Then she relaxed and tried to look casual, but gave away her unsureness by holding one of her auburn-streaked braids and petting at it nervously.
Uranus smirked at Suzu's remark (i can *too*), with the slanted
smile that she was know for. Her eyes then shifted to Jupiter. She
couldnt help but feel that Jupiter had experienced loss as she did..
but thought it best to not mention it for now. Instead she looked
forward. "Anyway, we better start patroling. Sitting in one spot
like this makes us sitting ducks.." She motioned to Tin Nyanko and
Jupiter to follow her. As she motion forward, her thin blue eyes
shifted back and forth, ready to catch something that meant harm to
them. These assholes were gonna pay. First, for what they did to
Neo Tokyo... look at this dive- who would once believe that this
place was once filled with life and love? .. and second, for those
who they had taken from her. With this in mind, she continued to
scan everything.
Suzu crinkled her nose, thinking that Uranus was cute when she smirked. She fell into step behind her, still petting her braid, but looking a bit less tense.
"Who did all this? Maybe we should go attack them before they strike again... catch them unawares..." she pondered aloud.
Uranus' tall slender figure came stopped abruptly for a moment at
Suzu's question- truth was, she had *no clue* who had done this-
which made her even more frustrated. She sighed, and looked to
Jupiter. "Jupiter.. you must know who did this?" she asked in a tone
that wasnt quite monotonous yet not quite lively either. Jupiter
looked like she may have had some interaction with at least one of
them, judging by all the cuts, scratches and bruises that decorated
her skin and fuku. As she waited for Jupiter's response her eyes
still kept busy- though they would continue to make contact with
Jupiter's from time to time- searching for some kind of answer.
Jupiter looked away a moment, and then to Uranus. She nodded and replied "I
fought with one this morning." she sort of inwardly cringed at the thought,
the memory still so very fresh in her mind.
She walked forwards, catching up with the rest of them, and clearly did not
want to expand on that bit, but she knew she must...
Uranus' thin blue eyes grew wide for a moment. She advanced towards
Jupiter quickly. "You fought with one this morning?? Did you catch a
name, or where they were from?" Uranus' voice came out a bit more
harsh than she had intended. She saw how reluctant Jupiter was to
talk about this ordeal.. but she needed more information. When she
found out whoever it was that took Neptune's life.. she would kill
them; even if it took her own life to do so. She noticed Suzu, who
was still playing with her hair- she wondered if Suzu was powerful
enough as an ally, or rather if she would just turn out a
liability. She wouldn't know until they faced an opponent.
