Rules - What is a Fate Eye? - Playing

First and Foremost
This RPG has a set plot. Given this fact, it will be very rigid and
controlled. Think of this rpg as more of a play, with a set plot, set
characters, and set outcome. Every once and a while the moderators may
control your character or the plot randomly.
If this is not to your liking, please rethink your application.
If you're looking for something with freedom in it's chaos, we suggest
Asylum - A Sailormoon
RPG.
The rules were updated Mar 14th.
Your
first language must be English. No exceptions.
Each senshi has a max of six attacks. If your senshi has less than six powers you may make up some. ie:
SailorUranus:
1. World shaking
2. Space sword blaster
She has two powers, you may make up four more. But of course they must be okayed by us.
Powers takes energy. The more powerful an attack, the more energy it drains from the character. Use powers wisely.
No Sailor Earth. Earth is Mamoru. We'll accept stars, asteroids, meteors and other celestial bodies.
No SailorChibiMars or SailorBlueSaturn that looks like Saturn with blue hair. NO look alikes. We encourage creativity here.
Spelling counts on the application sheet. Spellcheck the thing!
Do not Email us asking to play a character! We don't want to see "hi i luv your idea for the smrpg! can I be Fisheye? I dont have time to do a bio but i wanna be her. so can i, i'll do a bio later kthxbai!". Don't do that. That's irritating, and shows you've an enaite lack of grammer, spelling and punctuation. You look bad, you look stupid. You look like a twelve year old Otaku. Don't. If you ask us, you're auto-rejected and banned from playing that character. Period.
Fill out the bio sheet compleately. If your fan senshi doesn't know or remember- specify and put it in brackets. If you submit a bio in any format other then the bio sheet provided, we will redicule you mercilessly.
We're going by the Japanese anime, please use only the Japanese names ie: ("Tsukino Usagi"). Senshi names are one word ie: ("NeoSailorMoon"), no mixing names ie: (Serena Tsukino), and please do your homework. If you don't know specifics about your character look it up. We recommend: www.cosmicunicorn.com/sssmap/
You do not have to be an original senshi, you may be normal characters like: Naru, Umino, Luna, Artimis etc..
If you wish to be the child or lover of a senshi, please discuss this with the senshi's player. Do not apply to be a child or lover of a senshi if the senshi is not yet being played in the RPG
When your accepted- START ROLEPLAYING IMMEDIATELY! You have at most 3 days to do so- or you will be kicked out.
DO NOT put the list settings on NO E-MAIL.
The least you can have on Fate-RPG is DAILYDIGEST.
On Fate-OOC you may set it to SPECIAL notice- so you just receive important messages from the mods and updates on the site.
Post at least once every two weeks. This is the bare minimum, most rpgs require their players to post three to five times a week, we're being more the generous here.
Please type in full sentences when applying. No L33t, and no "L8r" "Ur" ect.
The rpg is written in story format:
"I will not lose!", NeoSailormoon cried as she thrust out her cepture, the power exploding toward the demon.
Thoughts are written in asterisks (*):
*I wish I was dead* thought Mamoru bitterly.
When posting, please put the characters present in the subject. Example: "A good plot (Mars, Ami, Moon)"
Please change the subject line when the plot requires it. Example: 13 post ago, the subject was "Mars in the hotseat" and involved Mars in a ring of her own fire, but Mercury saved her. Mars is now in the hospital so Mercury went to the Queen to give a report. they are now iscussing strategy."Mars in the hotseat" is no longer relevant, so it's time for a change ie "Strategy Time".
Please post in depth posts. Try to get into the character's mind. There's no limit to the size a post can be, but if the majority of your posts are:
'"ok! I'll get on that!" She turned to walk off into the palace. ' Then there's something missing there.
No powergaming/godmoding. No perfect characters. Flaws are good, flaws are human.

In a storyline please do not interchange between civilian name and Senshi name. If you're playing Mercury and she's in senshi form, don't call her Mercury one paragraph then Ami the next unless she de-transformed.) Pick a form for the plot and STICK with it. Hint: The senshi rarely ever become civilian, or even princesses anymore.
NO auto hits
Don't post like this:
"Sailor Moon grabbed the villain by the arm and in a fit of rage pulled his arm clean off and then whacked him over the head with it."
An auto hit is when one player attacks, and decides the outcome. If attacking, the victim has to choose whether the attack is successful- like this:
"Sailor moon, in a fit of rage, reached for the villain's arm, intending to pull it clean off and whack him over the head with it."
Then the villain's player would get to post if the move was successful.
"The villain moves out of the way just in time to avoid the attack."
You may control another's character for a moment, providing you don't act out of character, or have the person's character killed, murder, swear a blue streak, and so forth. Use common sense.
You may not kill another persons' character without first asking the player.
There are no "scouts". "Scouts" are the NorthAmerican version. We will however, accept senshi, soldier, warrior and guardian.
Please let us know if you're going to be away for an extended period of time
If you wish to rp sexual content, please play it off of the list- some of us don't wish to be forced to read your nookie.
Swearing in general is all right, however, please keep it in character.
There's a three strikes your out policy on rules and characters. Do not oblige and you will be banned from the rp.
We will ban any players whom can't play like nice little children.

What does A Fate's Eye look like?
A Fate's Eye resembles a circle with a small bulge near the bottom. In truth, it's a symbol of a serpent eating its own tail. In the center is a hovering infinity symbol. It is clear, smooth, and glassy.
How is it stolen?
One sticks their hand in another's eyesocket and pulls it out, leaving a hollow, bloody eye socket. In attacker's bloody hand would be the Fate's Eye.
What are the symptoms of Fate's Eye theft?
Stealing one's Fate's Eye is like stealing a person's Fate, their Destiny. You are literally stealing their life from them. The victim is totally catatonic. As if they're autistic, mute, or even just a simple empty puppets.
How is It used?
The Senshi must gather as much as they can to summon a being of Prophecy to combat the approaching evil.
Is it the same as a Pureheart or Starseed?
No. A Pureheart is the embodiement of good intension inside ones heart. A Starseed is some what like a person's soul. A Fate's Eye is the person's destiny, what they will make of themselves, their potential, their future, their life.
What happens if the Fate's Eye breaks?
If an Eye breaks, the person who's fate that was dies.
