Reasons

Why make a shrine to Shera? Because she didn't have one. Or she didn't have any that I could find when I made this.

I have another website, far bigger than this one, dedicated to my favorite FFVII character, Reno. While looking for other shrines to exchange links with, and to just look at them for entertainment, I noticed that Shera didn't have her own little shrine. Cid had plenty, as did the other characters. Even minor characters that I didn't think had shrines, actually had shrines. But what about Shera? Well she has a shrine now.

When I was thinking about what to call this shrine I came up with several options. I thought of Underappreciated, because Shera wasn't being appreciated as much as she should be. It happened in the game, though that later changed, and it was reflected online in the lack of Shera shrines. Another option was Dedication, because Shera is very dedicated to Cid. It sounded nicer than Underappreciated so that one was discarded.

Other options included Waiting, because Shera has done a lot of that. Waiting for the truth about the failed launch to be understood; then waiting for Cid to return from his latest adventure, just waiting. It seemed to fit and came pretty close next to Dedication.

There was also Loyalty, it is in a way similar to Dedication, but also different. I had the feeling that Loyalty might have already been used in other fandoms, if not in the same one, so in the end, Dedication remained.
