Cid: Shera has known Cid for years, and eventually marries him. In my opinion it seems that Shera has been in love with Cid for a long time because of the sacrifices she is willing to make for him, even risking her life and claiming she doesn't mind.

For a long time, Shera puts up with Cid's lack of appreciation for her hard work, blaming herself for destroying his dream. She had decided to dedicate her life to him since then; but if you ask me, that is something she has been doing since before the failed launch.

I think their relationship has never been one sided, it may appear that way with how Cid treats Shera when we first meet her in Rocket Town, and how he makes it clear that she is not his wife. However, the fact still remains that Cid chose to abort the launch to save Shera, valuing her life over his lifelong dream.

Even if Cid is obviously upset and blames Shera for the failed rocket launch, he still remains close to her. He doesn't tell her to leave his house, or that he doesn't want to see her anymore; he accepts her help.

It is when Cid realizes that Shera had been right all long, that he finally apologizes. Being the nice person she is, Shera doesn't throw it in his face at all. She's happy it's all finally been cleared, and Cid understands that she was just trying to help him; in the end he realizes he needed that help.

Their relationship is not further explored beyond telling us that they got married. It is obvious to assume that Cid no longer blames Shera for the failed launch, and is no longer bothered by the idea of being married to her.

I imagine that they get along a lot better. Cid is most likely still Cid, slightly impatient and with a colorful language, but Shera must have since stopped the self guilt trips, and Cid must have learned to show appreciation, he even names his new air ship after Shera.

Avalanche: Shera treats Cid's friends as her friends. She worries about them if she hears something is happening, and is very nice.

Shinra: Shera was involved with Shinra in the past, being one of the mechanics working on the rocket during the times of the space program; but that ended when the space program was cancelled.

Turks: This is only a theory, but she would probably serve them tea. XD
