The problem with fandom is that it tends to be unrelentingly rabid. Once something askew is done, it's automatically evil, wrong,bad and pooh-pooh.
Some of the more 'devoted' fans get way too worked up on a work of fiction. Whether we're talking about JtHM, BSSM, or IBAD, it is ALL just fiction. Guys! People are dying every day, getting pregnant, drugging...there's much more out there to concern yourselves other then a shoddy fic.
But, some insist on getting worked up...We here at IBAD have worked back...

From the Founder: What the hell is "japanise"? Ok, ok so it's a low blow to pick on someone's spelling. But seriously, everytime I read that, I read "jap-penis". That aside, Jhonen likes anime. Don't you see the many homages to it in his Meanwhiles? Or in the animation if Invader ZIM? Like GIR's "henshin" into a dog, or the way the backgrounds move when they're in the Voot, or fighting. There's alot of anime influence in ZIM, so your argument doesn't hold much water. Thank you.

Someone didn't read the introductory paragraph. I crossed them cause I had a dream they were flirting. It was cute. I liked it, as did others. It's not like we're trying to be brazenly pretentious or dableing heavily in high-school philosophy or psychology. And it's not like IBAD is 36 pages of porn. We attempt to have a well rounded fic with plot and substance. You want some disturbing shit, go look around adultfanfiction.net for about 10 minuts. Or go watch "Happy Tree Friends". You won't be the same after that.
As for the image manipulations, I did them because I wanted to, and I could. Look, I give credit where credit's due, and I'll allow anyone to take the images with permission, and if they remain un-altered.
The drawn pictures however, cannot be taken.

Your website causes me great pain(and this is coming from a fan of both JTHM and Sailor Moon). This is one of the reasons I'm reluctant to start my own comic series: really, REALLY weird fans.

If you're so scared that Jhonen Vasquez will find out about this site, TAKE IT OFF THE FREAKING INTERNET. if it's on the world wide web it's accessable by anyone, anytime.

This is random, but hey, I'm on a roll! What is it with you spazzing when people don't use the "proper" Japanese words for the SM characters? What if Sailor Saturn's name in Japanese was "Sheephump LaFuckface?" Unless you're planning on writing a fic in Japanese, use the English words for Christ's sake. You look like the biggest otaku-poseur in the world.

I DON'T like 'otaku-isms'. I don't much like 'otaku' eather. I Find them to be hyperactive idiots.
I'm a fan with spare time, nothing more.

As for 'weird' fans...I myself do several other projects that have fanbases. You know the kind...the 'OMG Hes SOOOO SUGOI!! *snugglehumpscrew*:D<3!!'
and I don't make it a secret that I hate them.
There's nothing wrong with hating the fans. If one creates something, they should create for themselves, and no one else.
