Alto Application Template

I. The Basics
Your Name: Or alias or online handle, whichever. What would you like us to know you by?
Your Age: Okay, this will NOT be counted against you. Be honest. Seriously. We are not evil, biased GMs. X3
Website URL: (If any)
AOL, Yahoo, MSN, AIM, Screen Names:
Optional, most of us use AIM though! And we love to contact people through it too.
Your E-Mail:
Your Forum Username: Yes, you must be registered on the forums to apply to PC.
Rping Experience: It is fine if this is your first game. We are just curious about what other RPGs still exist out there and hopefully view some of your previous work!

II. Just Your Everyday Girl…or Boy
Character Name:
Name Meaning: Why did you pick this name out for your character? How is it relevant? Show us your research behind your character’s name.
Character Position: What senshi are you applying for?
Birth Date: Just give us a day and a month to go along with it, please do not add their birth year.
Astrological Sign: Make sure it is relevant to your character's personality in some way! We do not want to see any liberal Tauruses or social butterfly Scorpios!
Age:
Blood Type: To understand how this relates your character's personality check out these links: link and link 2.
Birth Place:
Nationality:
Occupation: If any.
School: Again, if any.
Academic Level: The grade your character is currently in.
Major/Minor: Even if a freshman or a high school student or younger, put in their intended major or "undecided" if they are unsure.
GPA: This can be an assumption or rough estimate, not much time should be spent on this portion. For high school students, this is their unweighted GPA.
School Involvements: Any club or sports? Is he a leader or founder of one? Or do they totally lack school spirit completely?

III. The Nitty-Gritty Character Information
For the likes, dislikes, and hobbies below, please simply state what they enjoy; you need not put any sentences to back up each of these ideas. Generally when this is required, there seems to be a smaller amount of likes, dislikes, and hobbies and makes the character very one-dimensional from this.
Likes:
Dislikes:
Hobbies:
Favorite Food:
Hated Food:
Favorite Animal:
Favorite Color:
Aspirations:
Flaws: Flaws are what make a character stronger, they help make the character seem more lifelike and separate him from the rest of the cast. Parts of this section may be copied over to the personality section too as it fits under personality. This section should not be excessively long but should get you thinking about what negative traits you should put in the big personality section. 8D

Physical Appearance
Hair color and style:
Eye color, shape etc:
Facial Features:
Body Type/Build/Skin Color & Height & Weight:
Walking Style/’Carriage’:
Clothing Style: If possible, this should fit the genre he represents.
Distinguishing Marks:
Other Physical Appearance Details:
Voice: High or low? Squeaky or silent? Perhaps he talks just a bit or could you recognize his voice from miles away because of how ridiculously high-pitched(and infamous ~_^) and juvenile it sounds? Feel free to compare his voice to someone else's if needed.

Personality: For this section, please state at least 7~12 personality traits and describe each in its own 1 paragraph. The paragraphs do not have to be long at all, but should back up why he can be described as having this trait. Remember to balance out your positive and negative traits, negative traits most likely help a character become stronger and not so one-dimensional. Work with your flaws you filled out a few sections above!

History: Everything that has happened in their life can be included, even the silliest of things in their past—we want to hear them! We want your character’s history up until present time. Remember, alto and soprano senshi do not know that they are senshi yet and this means that they are completely unaware of their guardian.

IV. Relations & Miscellaneous
NPCs: Friends, family, and room mates. You can have as many as you want, but make sure to write a few sentences on each including their relationship with their character, occupation and/or school(if any), physical appearance, and anything else you find important to them.
Character Relations: Is he currently friends with any of the other characters? Whether this person is a senshi or civilian, please make sure that the player of this character has agreed to this relation beforehand.
Love Life: Does your character currently have a crush? A boyfriend or girlfriend? Are they married? What is their sexual preference? If you plan on making your character date another character, you better make sure the other player as agreed on it first.
Character Theme Song: The song that most represents your character, include the artist and title and this should be of his genre, obviously. Make it snazzy, it is going on the jukebox. ;D
Secret(s): Is there something your character keeps a secret from either the past or current times? The other characters will not know of these secrets but we will.

V. Proelium Soldier
Senshi Name: For male senshi, you drop the Sailor in his name. Ex: Sailor Trance would be simply Trance if male.
Symbol: As always, every senshi needs a symbol. Please describe it and if possible, we urge you to provide a picture. A wonderful site to find relevant symbols is Symbols.com.
Henshin Item: This must relate to his genre and can be anything, as long as it is relatively small. I do not want to see a big, spinning disco ball for Sailor Classical’s henshin item.
Henshin Phrase & Description: “[Genre] Alto Power!” There are no limitations on the henshin, so feel free to go as crazy and out-there as you want. Catch/Introduction/Challenge Phrase:

Fuku

As male senshi are open to any sort of fuku they may wish and not limited to any sort of default attire, please feel free to be as creative as you would like. Please make the wardrobe relevant to his genre and describe it in full detail. You may even make it into separate sections to organize your thoughts if you find it helpful.

Additional Notes/Changes: Does your character gain longer hair or get shorter hair as a senshi? Does his skin color change or eyes? What about his hair style when henshined? A hat of some sort? All of the other nitty-gritty details for the fuku besides the outfit itself belong in here. We hope this section can put some more pizzazz and diversity in the fukus.

Attacks (Up to 2 per senshi)
Senshi start off with one to two attacks but as they progress, they can learn of more. One of these two attacks must have a name from a song or album name of their genre. Describe the attack and make sure it is relevant to his genre!
Attack Names:
Attack Descriptions: The visual of this attack.
Attack Effects: What happens when this attack takes place? What effect does it have on your senshi? Does it make him feel weak afterward? Can the attack be blocked somehow?

Weapon: We rather have characters not have weapons and there is a good chance we will accept your character but not your weapon. An abundant amount of characters with weapons can look silly after a while. Look at the small amount of senshi in Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon with weapons, this is the quantity of senshi with weapons that we are looking at here. Describe your weapon and give it a name, also it would be nice if it was involved in one of the two attacks you listed above.
Other Information:

VI: Guardians

Please delete this part of your application if your character does not have a guardian. Just like weapons, we only want a handful of guardians per team and may accept your character, but reject your guardian.

Real Name: Remember, these cannot be modern or common names but in Greek, the guardians are from a totally different galaxy that adapted Greek names for their places and citizens.
Origin: Where is your guardian from in Lyrica? Of course they must be from the same faction that supports your senshi but a city or town found on the Lyrica map should be specified here too.
Guardian Name: Guardian names are based on abbreviating their Lyrican names or can deal with some aspect of your senshi's genre.
Animal: What type of animal is your guardian? It can be anything, just nothing enormous. If possible, make it relevant to your senshi's genre.
Description: Describe your guardian cat here, and remember they must have the Cantus symbol on their forehead (the symbol) in any color desired. Please describe their human appearance too.
Personality: Just a paragraph or so about how your senshi’s guardian acts and thinks about the character they are bound to protect and inform. ^_^

VII: Writing Sample Optional
Basically, an everyday experience written in third person, past tense form. We will leave the length up to you as some people can write short, pretty pieces while others prefer to write long, detailed samples. It is all up to you, but be confident with what you do! The writing sample is a very, very crucial part of your application and how you will be judged as a writer.

This section is optional but recommended. For antsy applicants who feel like they have now shown enough of their writing ability, this section is for you! Remember, the more writing we get from you, then usually the better!

Players already accepted in the game are automatically exempt from the writing sample altogether.

VIII: Other Shtuff
Potential plans: These are the goals you would like your character to reach during the RPG whether plot ideas or further character development.
Miscellaneous: Anything else you want to add? Put anything you think we should know about your character and whatnot in here. I remember an old Sailormoon Genesis quote that applies here: “Your character may be dark and mysterious, but you CAN'T BE DARK AND MYSTERIOUS AT THE REVIEWERS. You have to divulge your whole past, and all your senshi capabilities to us. You can hide whatever you darn well please from the other players. ^_-“ This section is pretty much what you are hiding or planning to hide from the other players, meaning nothing from his personality, past, and whatnot should be stated here.
