Results & Reviews

Whether you posted your application on the forums or through email, your application once under review or reviewed already will be posted here. Reviews and actual applications can be found below. We encourage prospective members to learn from the mistakes of others too and take the time to read through the reviews.

PC uses a point system method of judging applications. This may seem a bit different than the norm, but this allows us to make fairest judgment possible on your character. The entire application is worth 100 points and different sections weigh more than others which can definitely help or hurt your final reuslt. To assure us that you will put your best effort into each section, the sections that weigh more or less than others will not be revealed.

When being reviewed, you will not be given the points you scored but will be given what the reviewers loved the most, disliked, and what they thought you could touch up on in your application. Followed by these comments, you will be given a final result at the bottom of your review, an average of the verdicts the reviewers decided on for you. Unlike the results for the other applications, Errata senshi are judged differently. Errata senshi merely receive an accept or reject verdict without a full, formal review.

From reading the applications and reviews already posted, you can learn what sections we are the harshest judges on and possibly what not to put on your application. Please take advantage of this opportunity and feel free to take up your result with one of the GMs through a PM on the forums or through their email or AIM. We will discuss anything with you as long as you do not throw a fit on the forums or take the review personally. We're here to help you and we want to strengthen not only your character application, but your writing in general. :D

Good luck and again, use past applications and reviews for tips and ideas as to what we expect from you or what types of characters have already been accepted into PC!

Result Definitions
Accepted – Welcome to Proelium Cantus! Your character is definitely in, without a doubt. Some applicants with the “Accepted” mark may have to change 1~3 small things too. So even though you were accepted, please check the review crew’s commentary.
Accepted with Revision – Although your character has been accepted to PC, please make a few changes before playing your character. The revision is required but you can choose when you want to fix it as the error(s) was most likely a miniscule one. This is probably due to the application’s errors not being critical ones and just things that need more detail work, a quick spell check, or clarity.
Accepted with Mandatory Revision – You are almost in! But there is something that needs to be changed right away in your application before we can officially allow in you PC. This is usually something very critical thus it needs to be changed even before complete acceptance. We will not add your character to the list until these changes are submitted.
Rejected for Revision – Your application showed promise, but there may have been too many errors to allow your character in. The application is indeed restorable at this point but will need much tweaking.
Rejected – Your application had problems or was too weak, leaving an impression on us that may be your character would not nearly fit into the RPG yet. Usually with this mark, you should start your application over again from a clean slate or pump a lot of detail work into it that was probably lacking.
Auto-Rejected – Most of the time, this is because someone did not read the rules. Incomplete applications are also thrown into this category.
Withdrawn – The applicant chose to withdraw their application.
Pending – Your application is currently awaiting a verdict. The suspense!
