Las Vegas : The Schools

An Overview of the Las Vegas Schools

University of Nevada – Las Vegas – Priding itself in its diverse sports and enthusiastic fans, UNLV has much to offer in intramurals. Not to mention, UNLV has many jobs for students to hold around the campus like working at the radio stations KUNV 91.5 FM or Rebel Radio. Xeric Garden, a favorite among locals and environmentalists who have a knack for plants, is also on the campus. http://www.unlv.edu/

Clark High School – Home of the “Chargers,” Clark High School seems to be the opposite of LVHS, with its emphasis on academics more so than extracurricular activities. There are also 3 magnet schools at Clark for those students who wish to study in a specialized area and earn extra college credit. http://www.ccsd.net/schools/clark/
